The Caps Lock, NUM, and Scroll Lock status LEDs are useful since they are built right into the key, making it easy to see which status LED is on. More frequently, higher-priced products come with this feature. The LEDs flashing clearly indicates a need for a battery replacement. However, the 36-month battery life makes it unlikely that this will happen.
