A switch on the keyboard and mouse allows you to switch between Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz connectivity instantaneously for wireless RF or Bluetooth transmission. The kit includes the USB receiver for 2.4GHz wireless communication. AES-128 encryption is used in both instances to transmit data over distances of up to 10 metres.

The keyboard and mouse are powered for weeks on end by the rechargeable lithium batteries.
